We are very pleased to offer a very original and low mileage 1997 Rover Mini Cooper. Finished in gleaming British Racing Green with a contrasting white roof, bonnet stripes, Minilite wheels and twin spot lamps. This Cooper has led a very cherished life having covering just 65 thousand miles in 29 years with just two previous owners. Registered new by BMG Rover in Milton Keynes, it is accompanied with a comprehensive service history detailing careful servicing, original handbook, a fully stamped service book and both sets of keys and fobs. It has remained in its original factory spec and it is all the better for it.
On the road it is an absolute pleasure to drive. The 1275 engine is very smooth with bags of power, the gearbox is as it should be, taught and precise. We have just fitted four new wider profile tyres so it also has excellent handling and servo operated disc brakes give you plenty of confidence on the twisty stuff. This is an MPi Mini which stands for multi point injection, they have many modern day features such as a drivers airbag, side impact beams and an alarm and immobiliser. They are also very easy to use with taller gearing making long distance cruising a breeze and they easily keep up with modern traffic. They offer all of the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist.
The interior is in fantastic original condition with half leather Monaco trim, full length Walnut dash with Magnolia dials and its original door cards, carpets and roof liner a testament to a cared for life. It also has an uprated JVC stereo with AUX and USB input and a separate 12 volt socket with USB. This model also has rear seat belts and a very useful third level brake light.
The Mini has a very solid shell with the correct vented sills, solid floors and subframes and body coloured inner arches. The paintwork is very well presented. This is a good looking Mini Cooper that is ready to be driven, enjoyed and make you life much happier.
The Mini is fully checked, serviced, tuned and driven and has a long MOT.
