We are very pleased to offer a 2002 MG TF Stepspeed. Finished metallic X-Power grey and contrasted with Black leather and grey Alcantara interior. I have always been a fan of this now quite rare MG as they offer the full wind in the hair experience, a focussed drive and they are also entering into the Classic Car world so can be either used as a very easy to drive retro daily and a great choice for taking to shows especially given that this example has only covered just thirty thousand miles in 24 years with only four previous owners. This is the rare 1800cc Stepspeed Automatic version offering up a very useful 120 BHP and smooth acceleration, it can be driven as an Automatic with further options of a Sport mode or you can change gears on the steering wheel buttons when you are on the twisty stuff. It is accompanied with a service history folder and both sets of keys and fobs.
On the road this MG is very smooth with precise handling, the 1.8 K series engine has that wonderful Rover twin cam sound and the gearbox changes are seamless. These cars are from an era where the driver is left to just enjoy driving and not be interrupted with driver aids and constant beeping noises whilst still having that low mileage drive anywhere feel.
The interior is very well presented with half leather sports seats with Alcantara inserts. It has electric windows, central locking, electric mirrors and power steering. It also has an uprated stereo with AUX and USB inserts. The roof is in very good condition as is the Tonneau cover.
This MG has a very solid body and is untouched on the underside a sure sign of cared for life. The paintwork is gleaming with only the odd minor age related blemish. This is a good looking car that does belie its vintage.
It has just been serviced, it had the cambelt replaced at 28 thousand miles and has a long no advisory MOT so it is ready to be enjoyed.
