This is a March 2001 registered Mini making it one of the very last and one of a handful Y plate registration Minis that is also a genuine Cooper Sport making it very sought after and collectable. Our Solar red example has covered only 58k in 24 years and is accompanied with its original handbooks, service history folder including invoices for lots of recent care and both sets of keys and fobs.
On the road this Cooper Sport is an absolute joy to drive. The 1275 engine super smooth and has excellent power delivery across the rev range and the gearbox is taught and precise. Late model Minis are fitted with multi point fuel injection and are known as MPi. They are blissfully easy to use and all you need to do to start enjoying your Mini is turn the key and go. They feature taller gearing so long distance cruising is a breeze. They also feature a factory fitted alarm and immobiliser, side impact beams and a drivers airbag.
