We are very pleased to offer a very rare and desirable2001 Final Edition Rover Mini Cooper. Finished in the iconic British Racing Green with a contrasting white roof and bonnet stripes with twin driving lamps. This Cooper was registered in March 2001 and wears a Y registration making it one of the very last registered. It has only covered seventeen thousand miles in 24 years which equates to an amazing seven hundred miles a year. Final edition Coopers were produced in very few numbers and recognisable by having colour coded wheel arches, matching dashboard and black half leather trim, all unique to this model. It is also accompanied with handbooks and a service file and both sets of keys and fobs.
The Cooper is fantastic fun to drive. It feels new. The 1275 engine is super smooth across the rev band and the gearbox is taught and precise. The twelve inch wheels provide fantastic handling and this Cooper makes you smile out on the road. A Stainless steel exhaust gives it the correct burble willing you to push on through the twisty stuff. This is a Multi point fuel injected Mini or MPi as they are known. All you need to do to enjoy this Cooper is just turn the key and go. They also feature a drivers airbag, side impact beams and an alarm and immobiliser. They also benefit from taller gearing making long distance cruising a breeze, offering all the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist.
As you can imagine the interior feels virtually new. The half leather seats are unmarked as are the carpets and roof liner and the Mini still has a new smell. The colour coded dash has a three clock binnacle with Magnolia dials with a central analogue clock. It also has an uprated CD/AUX stereo and a 12V socket. This model also has rear seat belts.
This Cooper has a very solid shell with gleaming floor pans, untouched boot floor and and the correct vented sills. It is an unrestored example that has been maintained very well. The British racing green paintwork is known as BRG3 and has a wonderful glitter in the sunlight. This Mini makes a fantastic proposition being a low mileage final edition with super low miles whilst still being very useable.
The Mini has been fully serviced, checked and driven and is ready to be enjoyed.
