We are very pleased to offer a real drivers machine, I have thoroughly enjoyed preparing this Mini, it has an enviable spec, awesome looks and offers a real sensory experience on the open road. Finished in Yukon grey with a white roof and enhanced with colour coded group 5 wheel arches and a very sexy set of thirteen inch Superlite alloys with Yokohama tyres. Creating a Mini to this specification can be very costly and involve many hours of preparation, this one benefits from having all of the hard work done and so is ready for the open road. Fitted with an Avobar 1293cc engine with a fast road cam, lightened and balanced, matched pistons, heavy duty engine bearings, high capacity oil pump, Duplex timing gear and a fast road spec cylinder head with 1.5.1 roller rockers. It also benefits from an Avobar built gearbox with a straight cut close ratio gear set, 3.4 final drive, central oil pick up pipe and a cross pin diff. The results are a very healthy and easy to use 100 BHP.
On the road this Mini is awesome. The 1293cc engine is virtually silent with healthy oil pressure having only covered around 1000 miles in total. Power is instant in any gear and it just continues to pull right through the rev range, tall gearing also means it is happy on any road, powering through the twisty stuff or storming an A road. It has precise handling with many suspension upgrades, poly bushed throughout, adjustable front and rear camber, Hi-Lo suspension for adjusting ride height and fully adjustable upgraded gas shock absorbers. The sound is fantastic with that addictive fast road Mini bark through the HIF 44 carb, the straight cut gears singing and a full Maniflow exhaust system giving it a purposeful burble. You will certainly just want to keep driving this Mini as it just makes you smile the whole time.
The interior continues with the fast road theme, purposeful and functional and finished to a good standard. It has a custom dash giving you all the important information such as oil pressure, volts, temp and revs. It has air craft style flip switches and a retro map reading lamp. The battery and brake lines run inside as does the screen wash bottle for the full race look. An Alcantara steering wheel also gives you that race car feel and the very supportive Cobra bucket seats finish off the look. It also has a quick shift for immediate and precise gear changes, a rear roll cage and rear seat belts.
The Mini has a very solid shell with the correct vented sills, solid floors and subframes. The paintwork is also very well presented, this is a very good looking Mini that gets all of the attention wherever I have taken it with its awesome looks and sound.
The Mini has been fully checked, serviced, tuned and driven and has a full MOT so is ready to make its lucky new owner smile as much as it has me.
