We are very pleased to offer a beautiful 1999 Rover Mini Cooper Sportspack. Finished in Solar Red with a contrasting Union Jack roof. This is a very are find as it has only had one owner since it was one year old and covering just 24k in 26 years. It is even more remarkable in that it is presented with all of its original paint and panels. It has spent its life on light duties and always garaged, it has been an absolute pleasure to prepare and drive. It is accompanied with its original handbook, service book and both sets of keys and fobs. It has all of its original showroom options that were available in the brochure at the time which include the Morris style wavy grille, Union Jack roof, third level brake light, alloy rocker cover, alloy door furniture, walnut gear knob and the extra boot badges. It is a total time warp and high quality example.
On the road the Mini drives very well. The low mileage 1275 engine is virtually silent and the gearbox is taught and precise. This is an MPi Mini that stands for Multi Point Fuel Injection, it means that all you have to do to enjoy your Mini is simply turn the key and go. Further features include an alarm, immobiliser, side impact beams, drivers air bag and taller gearing for easy long distance cruising. Offering all of the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist. Performance is excellent, it pulls very well through all the gears and is at home on any road. We have just treated it to a new Maniflow exhaust so it has that subtle Cooper burble.
The interior is very well presented as it should be with a such a low mileage example. Virtually unmarked Monaco half leather seats, full length Walnut 6 clock dash with Magnolia dials. It also has its very rare original Cooper branded carpet floor matts a sure sign of an easy life and a period Kenwood cassette player. This model also has rear seat belts.
The Cooper has a amazing untouched shell. It is as it left the factory and is wearing its vintage very well. It has its original body coloured vented sills, the underside is red as are the inner arches and all four floor pans. The boot floor is untouched and the original Pirelli spare wheel has never been used. The subframes are also in fantastic condition. The paintwork is gleaming and again completely original, This is a good looking Mini that will make its lucky new owner very proud.
The Mini has been fully serviced, checked and driven and it has a full MOT so it is ready to go and be driven and enjoyed and be the envy of your friends.
