On the road the Mini is excellent to drive. The original and rebuilt 998 engine is very smooth and offers plenty of power to easily keep up with modern traffic, the gearbox is taught and precise and thanks to completely new running gear the handling is precise as any good Mini should be. All of the braking and suspension components are all new and it feels very positive on the open road. Being a City E in factory specification it also offers that pure Classic Mini driving experience, no fuss just lots of smiles.
The interior is beautifully presented and a testament to its long term family owners. The original seats are in good condition as are the original carpets and door cards. It has its original 2 clock dash and a Sony CD player with Bluetooth connectivity. This model also has rear seat belts.
The Mini has a fantastic shell and has recently been taken back to bare metal so no stone has been left unturned here. It has solid floors, the correct vented sills and a highly detailed underside with powder coated subframes. The paintwork is gleaming, the Quicksilver really suits the Mini shape, this is a good looking Mini that has been a pleasure to prepare and drive.
