Produced in the last year of Classic Mini production and finished in metallic British racing green with a contrasting white roof, twin spots and enhanced with a sexy set set of Superlite wheels wider profile tyres. It has only covered 51k in 24 years and is accompanied with a fully stamped service book, handbooks, history folder and both sets of keys and fobs. This Mini is presented in beautiful condition ready to be used and enjoyed.
On the road this Cooper drives beautifully. The low mileage 1275 engine has bags of power and performs well right through the rev range. This Mini just drives so well, from the second you get out on the open road you just know that it is going to be fun. It has a full Maniflow exhaust so the sound matches the performance. The gearbox is also taught and precise and thanks to four recent tyres the handling is as it should be. This is a multi point fuel injected Mini or MPi as they are known and they are very popular as all you need to do is simply turn the key and go. Furthermore they have taller gearing for easy cruising, drivers airbag, side impact beams and an alarm and immobiliser. They offer all the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist.
The interior of this Cooper is very well presented. The half leather Monaco trim seats are virtually unmarked and the carpets and roof liner are also very good. It also has a wonderful Cooper Sport full length aluminium 6 clock dash with a CD player and matching Alloy door trim. This model also features rear seat belts.
This Mini has gleaming paintwork that is in fantastic condition and belies its 24 year vintage. The shell is also super solid with its original vented sills, body coloured floor pans and untouched boot floor. This is a good looking Mini that gets lots of deserved attention. We have fully serviced, driven and checked this Cooper and it has a full MOT so it is ready to start a new Mini adventure.
