We are very pleased to offer a very striking 1998 Rover Mini Cooper 1275 MPi. Finished in rare metallic Charcoal grey with colour coded wheel arches and a contrasting White roof, a colour combination that really suits the Mini. It has only covered 59 thousand miles in 26 years and is accompanied with a large service history folder and the original handbooks. It benefits from having much recent expenditure and is now ready to be driven and enjoyed.
On the road this Cooper drives very well indeed. The 1275 engine is very smooth and delivers excellent power right through the rev band and the gearbox is precise as it should be. All Mini Coopers should be fun to drive and offer an engaging driving experience and this one will not disappoint. The handling is precise and you will be happily pushing on around the twisty stuff and easily keeping up with most things. This is also an MPi Mini which stands for Multi Point Fuel Injection. It means all you have to do is turn the key and go. All of the classic Mini charm is on offer with a modern twist. Further features include a drivers airbag, side impact beams, alarm and immobiliser and taller gearing for easy cruising. This model also has servo operated disc brakes and rear seat belts.
The interior is well presented and has full embossed black leather with cream piping. It also benefits from a full Burr Walnut upgrade with a full length dash with Magnolia dials, analogue clock and matching door caps and gear knob. It also has a Sony stereo with USB and smart phone connectivity.
This Cooper has a very solid shell with solid sills, floors and subframes. The paintwork is very well presented and belies its vintage. This is a good looking Mini Cooper that always gets lots of admiration. I have been enjoying this one for a couple of weeks and it feels ready to drive anywhere.
We have fully serviced, checked, tuned and driven this Mini and it has a long no advisory MOT. It is now ready for a new adventure.
