We are very pleased to offer a stunning 1996 Rover Mini Sprite 1275cc. Finished in gleaming White Diamond and presented in its original and now rare factory specification. The Mini Sprite offers pure and simple looks and the pure Mini driving experience and is as it was intended without any modifications. This example has only covered a very low 32 thousand miles in 29 years with just two previous owners. It has recently benefitted from a thorough refurbishment of both the body and the mechanics and is presented in fabulous condition, it could easily be shown proudly or be an excellent daily and is a nice alternative to the Cooper.
On the road this Sprite drives very well indeed. The near silent fuel injected 1275 engine pulls well across the rev range and is happy being pushed on the twisty stuff and easily keeps up with modern traffic. Fuel injection makes it very easy to use simply turn the key and go. This era of Mini are so easy to drive and you will just keep smiling. This model also has servo assisted disc brakes giving you even more confidence.
The interior is as you would expect from such a cared for low mileage example. The original grey cloth seats are in excellent condition and the switch gear all feels virtually untouched, all original carpets, door cards and roof liner, and amazingly has still never had a radio fitted! This model also has rear seat belts.
This Sprite has a very good shell, it has been an absolute pleasure to prepare. It is body coloured and detailed inside all four wheel arches as is the underside and has had a recent rear subframe. The vented sills are gleaming as are the floor pans. The boot and engine bay are also very well detailed. The paintwork is stunning as can be seen from the images and is blemish free. This Sprite offers its lucky new owner the chance to enjoy a Classic Mini that has been cared for and cherished with the added bonus of it being a now very rare unmodified Sprite.
We have fully serviced, checked and driven this Mini and it has a long no advisory MOT.
