We are very pleased to offer a very striking 1994 Rover Mini 35 Limited edition, finished in gleaming metallic Nevada Red with unique 35 details. Only one thousand Mini 35’s were built to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Mini production in two colours and the Nevada red seems to be the rarest and also a colour that really suits the Mini and in the sunlight it really does pop. This 35 has only covered 44 thousand miles in 31 years with just four previous owners, the first for nearly 28 years and offers its lucky new owner the chance to own a very rare low mileage limited edition Mini. Mini 35’s are also the last production Minis to have the 1275 Carb engine making them a popular choice as they offer Cooper performance with a lower insurance bracket and plenty of tuning potential. It is presented in its original factory specification with the addition of wider profile tyres giving it a purposeful look. Registered new by Beadles in Dartford, it is accompanied with a large service history folder that includes the original handbooks, stamped service book, 35 sales brochure, an invitation to the Minis 35 Birthday celebration, every tax disc and every MOT certificate. It also still has its original Beadles Rover leather key fob. This Mini has excellent provenance and has clearly been well looked after.
On the road this 35 drives very well indeed. The 1275 engine is smooth and near silent and the gearbox is taught and precise. It has a feel of a low mileage cared for Mini with fantastic performance right through the rev range and excellent handling. This model also features rear seat belts and servo assisted disc brakes.
Mini 35’s have a very funky contrasting trim and this example is no exception. The interior is beautifully preserved and totally original with Jamboree pattern seats and door cards, original carpets and untouched roof liner. It has the correct two clock dash, 35 steering wheel logo and the original Rover cassette player. Remarkably it also has its original issue Rover floor matts.
Being such a low mileage example the Mini has fantastic shell with all of its original panels, vented sills, body coloured inner arches and floor pans and original boot floor. This one really has been cared for. The paintwork is gleaming and she could easily sit on display at any show and really does belie her vintage.
The Mini has been fully serviced, checked and driven and will be supplied with a full MOT and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
