We are very pleased to offer an awesome 1990 Rover Mini Thirty LE. Produced to celebrate 30 years of Mini production and one of a limited run of only 2000 in metallic Cherry red with only with only 260 remaining. They have always been one of the classiest limited editions that were produced and featured twin coach lines with unique 59-89 badging, colour coded wheel arches and mirrors. Minilite alloy wheels, half leather seats, leather steering wheel and red carpets. It is accompanied with a detailed service history folder, original sales brochure and the original handbooks and service book.
The Mini benefits from having a recent restoration with many new parts and lots of time and love lavished on it and is ready to be used and enjoyed with the future proofing completed. It now boasts a fully rebuilt MG Metro 1275 engine with a Kent 948 cam, stage one kit and electronic distributor so its an exciting Mini to drive with bags of power. It is also mobility adapted and is fitted with a synchro drive clutch unit. This genius system operates the clutch from a sensor on the gear stick allowing easy gear changes without the need to operate the pedal. It only operates when it is switched on so it can be driven as normal giving the option for both. It was fitted at a cost of £3000 by Guidosimplex UK. The system can also be removed.
On the road this Mini drives very well indeed. It has instant power thanks to that delicious MG Metro 1275 engine, if you like a drivers car then this maybe the one for you. Performance is excellent across the rev range with oodles of torque, it will surprise its lucky new owner as it easily keeps up with modern traffic and is huge fun on the twisty roads. It also has an RC40 exhaust for that correct Mini burble and 4 pot MG Metro callipers with servo operated ventilated disc brakes giving you lots of confidence. What you will be doing is smiling.
The interior is in very good condition. It has the Mini 30 badged half leather seats, three clock dash with rev counter and a auxiliary pod mounted on the dash with oil pressure, clock and voltage. This model also has rear seat belts.
This Mini has a very solid shell and benefits from a recent restoration. It has solid floor pans, the correct vented sills, new rear subframe, radius arms, all new brakes and suspension. It also has four new Superlite polished Minilite wheels with Yokohama A539 tyres. The engine bay is a thing of beauty and well detailed. The paintwork is very well presented, this is a good looking Mini that benefits from having all of the hard work done and with excellent performance that will make its new owner very happy.
We have fully serviced, checked, driven and tuned this Mini and it has a long MOT so it is ready to be enjoyed.
