We are very pleased to offer a stunning and very low mileage 2000 Rover Mini Cooper Sportspack. Finished in metallic Tahiti blue, a rare colour that really sets off the Sportspack lines and contrasted with a white roof, bonnett stripes and four spot lamps. This Cooper had the same lady owner for the first 20 years of its life where it was used locally and always garaged. It was registered new by Wicliffe Rover in Gloucester and still wears its original dealer number plates and key ring. It is accompanied with a large and comprehensive service history and has its owners handbooks, fully stamped service book, both sets of keys and fobs and every MOT from new. This is a genuine Sportspack Cooper and registered in March 2000, the last year of classic Mini production. In 2021 it was sent off to Mini Sport to have stage 3 tuning kit fitted which comprises briefly of an uprated cylinder head with high lift rockers and a uprated exhaust. This gives the Mini a very useful 90BHP, it was a kit offered originally through Rover and it gives the already nimble MPi engine a boost of very useful power indeed making it excellent fun on the open road yet very well behaved round town.

On the road this Cooper still feels new, the low mileage engine is very smooth and the gearbox is taught and precise, The ride and handling are as a very low mileage and original Mini should be and it wants to be driven and enjoyed. As mentioned performance is very brisk and on the open road this Cooper will make you smile. Yokohama tyres and Mini Sport uprated brakes means it handles and stops superbly. This is an MPi Mini which stands for Multi point fuel injection, MPI Minis offer all of the Classic Mini charm with everyday useability, just simply turn the key and go. Further features include a drivers airbag, side impact beams, an alarm and immobiliser and taller gearing making long distance cruising a blast.

The interior still feels and looks new and has seen very little use. The embossed black leather seats, carpets, and roof liner are all still unmarked and it also has its original Cooper floor matts, a sure sign of an easy life. The Walnut six clock dash is unmarked. The sound system has also been upgraded with an Alpine head unit with CD/USB/AUX and Bluetooth with Hands free calling and Focal shelf speakers. It also has the very useful third brake light. This model also features rear seat belts.

This Cooper has a very solid shell, this is an unrestored original example and wears its 23 year vintage very well. The Tahiti blue paintwork gleams and it has its original vented sills, gleaming floor pans and untouched boot floor with its original unused spare wheel. The engine bay is also nicely detailed. It benefits from being wax oiled regularly throughout its life . It has a long MOT and is fully serviced and checked and ready for a new Mini adventure.
