We are very pleased to offer a very rare and sought after 1991 Rover Mini Cooper. Finished in gleaming Flame red with a contrasting white roof. This Cooper is the carb version of the much anticipated re launched Mini Cooper back in 1990 after a near twenty year gap in production and they were only produced in low volumes prior to the introduction of fuel injection. They sold out immediately. Not many have survived especially in there original factory specification. Even rarer still is that this Cooper has only had one from new and it is accompanied with its original bill of sale from March 1991 from HWM in Surrey costing £6400. It has clearly been cared for in that time. It is accompanied with its original handbooks, service book and a service file. It has also only covered 67k in 32 years.

These early 90s Coopers were real drivers cars and they packed lots of punch and gave owners the chance to get behind the wheel of a genuine carb fed Cooper Mini.

On the road this Cooper is great fun. The 1275 motor is super smooth and in fact almost silent. The performance is very punchy and offers a great acceleration through the gears as well as being very well mannered. The gearbox is smooth and precise and this is a Mini Cooper that you just want to keep driving. Being in its original specification also means you get to experience it as it was intended. New front tyres and four new shocks means the handling is sublime and this model also has servo operated disc brakes so it stops as well as it goes.

The interior is beautifully presented and again very original. The Crayon trim seats show minimal ware. The roof liner, switch gear and carpets all feel well cared for. The original 3 clock dash is present and correct and the leather steering wheel. The stereo has been upgraded to a Sony Bluetooth CD player. This model also has rear seat belts.

This Cooper has a very solid almost untouched shell. It appears to have all of its original panels, the original floor pans and the correct vented sills. The Cooper is body coloured inside all four wheel arches. The subframes are also solid. The paintwork is also very well presented and belies its vintage. This is a very well presented Mini Cooper that has had a cared for life with its original owner.

This Mini is fully serviced with many new parts, checked tuned and driven. It also has a full MOT so is ready to make you smile.
