We are very pleased to offer an awesome and legendary Super Saloon, the Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth. The ultimate eighties rocket ship and the Car I could only dream of owning all those years ago. If your reading this then you already know just how amazing these fast appreciating cars are. Firmly established as one of the greatest RS Fords produced. They are a privilege to drive and work on, this Sapphire stops people in their tracks and they immediately want to walk round and drool over it. Its no surprise as these cars are legends. Excellent looks, easy to use and of course Cosworth power on tap.

Our example, finished in metallic Flint grey has covered 129k in 34 years and is accompanied with a large and detailed service history, provenance is key with these cars and this one has plenty. It has had light use for the last ten years and been carefully garaged. It is presented close to its original factory specification and without heavy modifications that many seem to have. It has the Stainless steel exhaust and new Koni shocks all round and four new springs. It offers the original driving experience on the open road with a huge grin guaranteed, The classic Sierra handling is on offer with bags of power. the original engine is super smooth and pulls right through the rev range and sounds beautiful.

The interior is very well presented, with the all important Recaro seats showing only light signs of use and with good bolsters. It has all the Sapphire extras available in the day which includes electric windows, mirrors and a tilt and slide sunroof. The original Ford stereo and amp are present and correct and three auxiliary gauges have been fitted showing Oil pressure, Boost and AFR, all useful.

The RS has a very solid shell, showing no signs of previous welding and still wearing its original front wings and both supplying dealer number plates. The paintwork is gleaming and belies its vintage, this Cosworth could easily be displayed at any show whilst still being very useable. It has just had a full cam belt kit, oil and filter, new shocks all round including top mounts and new springs. It has an amazing MOT history and has a long MOT. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
