We are very pleased to offer a wonderful and very original 1991 Rover Mini Studio 2 limited edition. Finished in metallic Storm Grey with funky Studio 2 decals. Just 1500 of these special edition Minis were produced in three colours and very few original specification examples survive. Our Studio 2 has only covered 40k in 32 years with just two previous owners in that time. It is presented in completely original condition and still wearing both its dealer number plates and window stickers. Registered new by Station Rover Garage in Leyland. It is accompanied with its original handbooks and service books, the original sales brochure and a raft of service receipts. This Studio 2 is an excellent proposition if your after an original low mileage Mini that can not only be displayed but also be a fantastic everyday Classic Mini.
On the road this Studio 2 is an absolute joy to drive. It has a feel of a well cared for very low mileage Mini. The 998 engine is super smooth and very quiet and the gearbox is precise. The handling is fantastic and it also benefits from four new tyres. This model also has servo operated disc brakes so it stops as well as it goes. Performance is very brisk and it will certainly surprise its new owner and will without doubt but a grin on your face.
The interior is a rear time warp and all completely original right down to its original Rover rubber floor matts, a sure sign of a cared for life. It features Doeskin seats with the Studio 2 decal and a very funky green flash. Three spoke steering wheel, 2 clock dash and the original Rover cassette player, the roof liner and carpets are original and virtually unmarked and this model also has rear seats belts.
This Studio 2 has a very well preserved shell with its original floor pans, untouched boot floor, body coloured inner arches and the correct vented sills. The paintwork is very well presented and virtually blemish free, it certainly belies its vintage.
We have fully serviced, checked and driven the Mini and it has a long MOT with advisories completed. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
