We are very pleased to offer a super rare and very collectable 2001 Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500. Finished in the ever popular metallic Tahiti blue with contrasting Platinum Silver roof, bonnet stripes and four spot lamps. This example has only covered 61k in 22 years. It has had the same owner since it was three weeks old, Registered new by Pooles Rover in Farnham, it has been a local car all of its life and this is the first time it has been offered for sale. It is accompanied with a fastidious and detailed service history which goes back to day one and includes the original sales receipt. The service book is fully stamped right onto the spare pages, every MOT certificate and service receipt is present and the original owners handbook and both sets of keys and fobs. Rover launched the 500 in late 2000 at the very end of Mini production and exclusively only 500 were produced. They are full Cooper Sport spec and they also have a plaque in the glovebox to remind you that you own a very special Mini indeed. Our 500 is confirmed by the 500 register as being number 423 so it is in the last 100. Also included was the now very rare Cooper Sport 500 gift bag, which includes a certificate, T-Shirt, Hat, cuff links, compact mirror, clock and pen knife. These very rare and sought after Minis seldom come up for sale so this a fantastic opportunity.

On the road this Mini drives very well indeed. The 1275cc engine is smooth with excellent power delivery and the gearbox is precise. We have just fitted four new tyres and adjustable suspension so it handles beautifully. It has no modifications so is in its original specification. This is an MPi Mini which stands for multi point fuel injection, all you need to do is turn the key and go, Further features include a drivers airbag, side impact beams and alarm and immobiliser. MPi Minis offer all the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist and thanks to taller gearing they cruise with ease at Motorway speeds.

This 500 has a well presented interior, full Sport spec with Black leather with Platinum silver inserts, Aluminium 6 clock dash with Magnolia dials and an uprated Sony CD/AUX/USB head unit. This 500 also has rear seat belts and third level brake light.

This Cooper has a very solid shell with the correct vented sills, body coloured inner arches and the rear subframe is like new. The boot area and engine bay are also well detailed. The paintwork is in fantastic condition, this Mini really belies its vintage, this is thanks to how well it has been cared for.

The 500 is fully checked and serviced and has a long MOT so is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
