We are very pleased to offer an awesome and legendary Super Saloon. The BMW E39 M5. If your reading this then you already know just how amazing these fast appreciating cars are. Firmly established as one of the best BMW’s to wear the iconic M badge. They are a privilege to drive and own with incredible statistics from a 5.0 litre naturally aspirated V8 engine, 395 BHP at 6600 RPM and huge gulps of torque with 369 lb-ft, propelling this machine to 60MPH in under 5 seconds with a top speed of 186 MPH which even by todays standards those figures are very impressive and all done with sublime 5 series handling and comfort.
Our example has lived a charmed life and has been maintained meticulously. It has only covered 107k in 23 years with just five previous owners, the first owner for 15 years. It has a huge and detailed service history right back to day one. It includes a maintenance time line listing every service and part used and is by far the best service history folder I have ever seen. It consists mostly of main dealer stamps and receipts and some from BMW specialists and it also includes every MOT certificate and original running in check list. It has had a Vanos replacement and the all important timing chain replaced in 2020. It also has four keys. This M5 has never wanted for anything and when owning one of these super machines, provenance and service history is key and this example has both.
Finished in metallic Le Mans blue, a colour that really suits the shape and enhanced with blemish free style 65 alloys with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, this M5 has an awesome presence. Out on the open road it will not disappoint. The V8 is super smooth and virtually silent on tick over. The gearbox is also taught and precise. Its very easy to drive around town and get it out on the open road and press it on and a huge grin will appear on your face that will remain permanently. The sound and feel are incredible.
The interior is very well presented finished with two tone Silverstone leather seats, this example is fully specified with heated electric seats, Bluetooth phone prep, electric sunroof, parking sensors and satellite navigation. It also has uprated speakers in the rear which are a huge upgrade over the originals. All of the switch gear, dash and carpets are all virtually blemish free, a sign of a cherished Car. The original tool kit is complete and the CD changer is fully operational. The load area and engine bay are also very well detailed and original.
This M5 has gleaming paintwork that belies its vintage, and in the flesh is a stunning looking Car. Expect the odd minor blemish but I am just being very critical. It has just been serviced and has a full no advisory MOT so is ready to be used, driven and enjoyed.
