We are very pleased to offer an absolutely stunning and virtually unique Rover Mini Cooper. This Mini has had only 1 previous owner from 6 months old, and has covered only 24k in 22 years and has always been garaged and very well cared for. For the first six months of its life it was a Rover Showroom display at Evans Halshaw in Birmingham where it was fitted with many of the extras that Rover offered at the time which included a Union Jack roof, four spot lights, over rider bumpers with nudge bars, Walnut door caps and alloy door trims. It is accompanied with its original owners handbooks and stamped service book, every MOT certificate and both sets of keys. It is virtually unique in this condition as it has never had any paint or panel work in its life and is therefore totally original and its an absolute joy to behold and spend time with.
Once purchased from Rover it was then sent to a tuning company where it received their 90 BHP engine conversion, a very popular option at the time as it gave the MPI Mini lots more power and torque and turned them into a real drivers machine and this one is no exception. The kit included a stage 3 cylinder head, 1.5 roller rockers, Maniflow Exhaust system, Superchip and a K&N 57i induction kit. At the same time this amazing Mini was fully set up with adjustable suspension, Koni shocks, adjustable rear camber brackets and Minifin rear drums. Wider 165 profile Falken tyres were also fitted.
On the road this Mini is great fun to drive, the power is very progressive and it freely revs across the rev band and the sound is fantastic, the gearbox is precise and still feels new and the improvements to the handling mean that you just want to keep driving it as I have been doing. Anyone that drives this Mini will be instantly smitten and will have an instant grin, its also very smooth and easy to drive around town and when out on the open road it really gets going if required.
This Cooper has one of the nicest late Mini interiors I have seen, the only way to describe is that is as new, it looks new, its smells new and it feels new, the seats, carpets and roof liner are unmarked as is the dash and switch gear, the original Rover cassette player is also fully functioning.
As mentioned this Mini has completely untouched panel and paintwork and is still red underneath and up inside the wheel arches, the floor pans are original. It has never had any bodywork or paintwork and is such a very are find indeed. This Cooper gives its new keeper the oppurtunity to own a Mini which is completely original and amazing fun to drive. It is fully serviced and and has a long MOT and is ready to go and make you smile.
